HLD was glad to offer our time and equipment for the construction of the Blacksburg ABC Extreme Makeover Home Addition episode.

When the time came for the Wesley Foundation at Virginia Tech to get new walkways and a new volleyball court, Haile Landscape Design, Inc came to their aid.

The Architecture Annex had an outside sitting area made of wood. The students who used this area wanted to enhance it by adding walkways. Haile Landscape Design, Inc. was able to provide the materials to construct the walkways as well as being able to provide our services to help the students.

We were able to assist them by providing many of the materials at cost or no charge all together. The students of the Wesley Foundation assisted us in the building of their new court. This experience was rewarding for everyone who was involved.

Student Education Course

Fall semester 2009 Hort. 4984.
This project was built in a joint effort between HLD and VT.  We were able to utilize the project as a 16 week long, hands on learning experience for the students of Hort 4984 and provide a top of the line outdoor living area at a reduced cost to the client. 
Scope of work included site specific design and construction of a terraced outdoor /entertainment space.  Work comprised of dig out, demolition, construction of block walls, concrete footings, water feature, brick pavers, fire pit, natural stone steps, planting, mulching, low-voltage lighting, seeding and sod.
